Randy received a panic call from the filming location, it seems that four of the cars a 1950 Hudson, a 1950 DeSoto, a 1950 Dodge, and a 1951 Dodge were all over heating while filming chase scenes. Because of the difficulty of the scenes numerous takes were required which caused the cars to overheat on the set. They needed a fix and now! So Randy came to the rescue. Randy designed cooling system upgrades for each of the four cars and sent “care packages to the Marshall College filming location. Randy’s ideas along with his high output electric radiator cooling fans did the trick and the filming was completed on schedule, much to the relief of the director and crew.
